Carboxytherapy

Making the skin firm, oxygenated and resilient. Carboxytherapy is a novelty in the global market of aesthetic medicine.

The carboxytherapy treatment consists in the application of carbon dioxide under the skin using a certified device intended for injections. Within 7 days from the administration of carbon dioxide, there is an increase in the oxygen supply to tissues.

During the procedure, the amount of administered carbon dioxide is similar to the amount of gas produced in the body during a physical effort. The treatment is completely safe. The carboxytherapy method was introduced in France as early as in 1932. Currently, carboxytherapy is widely used in aesthetic medicine treatments all over the world.

As a result of a carboxytherapy treatment, production of collagen and elastin is stimulated, which largely affects the skin firmness and resiliency. Blood circulation is significantly improved, which is of importance during conditioning of the scalp and hair structure. As a result of a series of treatments, the skin becomes taut, firm and, ultimately, oxygenated and moisturised for a long time.

The treatment duration depends on the area being treated; on average, it lasts about 30 minutes.

HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT EFFECT REMAIN?

Carboxytherapy requires a series of at least 10 treatments to achieve visible and long-lasting results. Depending on indications, sustaining treatments are recommended once every 1 to 3 months.
